The NBA Finals in 2022 is scheduled to end on June 19 at the earliest. The NBA will turn its attention to the offseason calendar less than a week later, with the 2022 NBA Draft on June 23.

Schedule for the NBA Draft and the offseason
This year’s draft will occur at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, home of the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets. The first round was handled by ABC last year, with the second round being held by ESPN. When June arrives, we may expect more of the same.
NBA free agency usually begins in early July. Dates for the commencement of free agency will be determined later. The COVID-19 epidemic and the late start to the 2020-21 campaign clearly altered the situation last year. However, the NBA will resume its usual schedule in 2022.
Also, there’s this thing called blockbuster trades. They can be agreed upon before the start of free agency, but they won’t be finalized until the start of free agency. This is crucial for the 2022 NBA Draft, as numerous veterans might be traded this summer.
The Summer League in Las Vegas is a great place to go if you want to catch some NBA games and see who has recently entered the league via the draft. After then, the NBA preseason schedule for the 2022-23 season will begin in September. In that regard, no dates have been set. We know that the Golden State Warriors and Washington Wizards will meet in Japan for two NBA games during the preseason. The games are scheduled for September 30 and October 2.

Preseason games will be held in several other locales, including Las Vegas and the Hawaiian Islands. The NBA preseason schedule for 2022 has yet to be determined. Once that happens, we’ll update this post.
