LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – The city of Las Vegas is preparing to host the World Series of Poker. We’re coming closer to the NFL draught, which will take place on the Las Vegas Strip on April 28 and will be broadcast on ESPN.
One of the first noticeable pieces of evidence will be the NFL draught theatre, which is being built behind the High Roller at the Linq Promenade and will be completed in the coming months.
The theatre will host the main stage and will serve as the focal point for all draught activities, including the announcement of the NFL draught picks by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and other distinguished visitors on the second and third days of the draught, which will take place in the theatre.
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, as well as the public Las Vegas tourism agency, approved the expenditure of $2.4 million in public funds to host the NFL draught in Vegas.
In the beginning, the league had intended to have the draught event in Las Vegas in 2020, however, the pandemic forced the cancellation of the event.
