Javon Kinlaw is on a goal to be fully prepared for the upcoming season in 2022.
Despite just appearing in four games last season, the San Francisco 49er’s defensive tackle was forced to miss the rest of the season and undergo reconstructive surgery to fix his ACL.
Following is a video of Kinlaw running at the 49ers’ facility in Santa Clara, where the defensive lineman is continuing his rehabilitation. OurSF49ers shared the video on Twitter.
According to Kinlaw, who recently spoke with Brad Graham of TheSFNiners, “I’m feeling terrific.” “To be quite honest, I’ve only had ups and no downs.

Make a wish on a piece of wood. Everything has been moving forward in the proper direction.
I’m looking forward to getting back on the field and demonstrating what a healthy Javon Kinlaw can do for this organization.
As far as my health is concerned, I already feel better than I did last year when I was on the field.”
He confessed that he now has more knee and hip flexibility than he has ever had in his life as a result of the training.
Kinlaw (6-5, 319) was selected by the San Francisco 49ers with the 14th overall choice in the 2020 NFL Draft.
During his four appearances in games past season, he recorded eight tackles.
