If one play could sum up the whole of the Los Angeles Lakers’ bad season, it would be the last shot of their game against the New Orleans Pelicans last night. He had the ball as time was running out with the Lakers down by three points.
It was very important for Los Angeles to win to keep up with the Pelicans and the San Antonio Spurs in the race for a spot in the play-in game. This season has been a failure from every angle, and no one thinks the Lakers are a surprise team that can go far in the playoffs. But a LeBron-led team usually fights to the end.

For people who don’t like the Lakers, this is the year to be a Lakers fan. Purple and gold are having trouble. There’s a good chance that in 2022, they’ll go out like that. They lost last night, so it looks like that’s a lot more likely than not.

As far as I can tell, this video isn’t all that bad to look at. It shows just how bad the Lakers have been when it comes to big games this year. Every team will lose close games at some point, but teams near the Lakers in the standings will lose those close games more often than not. There are also a lot of airballs and missed free throws in this game, which is really bad.
