While the sports world waits to see if Tiger Woods will play in the 2022 Masters, Harris English has declared that he will not be competing.
On Feb. 14, Harris English had surgery to repair a damaged labrum in his hip. Despite the fact that his rehabilitation is doing well, it is far too soon for him to compete in a major.
“Unfortunately, I will not be able to compete at The Masters next week,” English said on Twitter. “I’m recovering well from recent hip surgery, but I’ll have to be cautious when I return to play.” I’m looking forward to joining my friends and competitors on the PGA Tour in the near future.”

English tied for 21st place at Augusta National last year. That is his greatest performance at the Masters so far.
Regrettably, I will not be able to compete next week at The Masters. I’m progressing very well from recent hip surgery, but have to exercise caution as I return to play. I look forward to joining my friends and fellow competitors on the PGA Tour soon. pic.twitter.com/bRiidCC4EQ
